Our Development Team is seeking a Membership Assistant, who will report directly to our Membership Manager.

This position (part time, at about 10 hours per week) is responsible for membership processing, member relations, office administration support and for providing assistance with the membership functions at the SBMNH. This includes processing of all new and renewing membership applications and following strict accounting procedures. This position maintains the membership database, ensuring protocols for entering and maintaining information are consistently followed. Additionally, the Assistant reconciles membership revenue, prints and mails membership cards and other materials and maintains inventory of printed materials and office supplies. 

Excellent computer skills and database experience required. Good communication and organizational skills necessary. This position must have a professional demeanor in working with members on the phone and in person. Candidates must be available for occassional after hour and weekend membership event support.
