AFP CA, Santa Barbara/Ventura Counties Chapter: It's a Jungle out there - Transparency & Ethical Donor Stewardship
It's a Jungle out there:
Transparency & Ethical Donor Stewardship
One of our primary functions as development officers is stewarding donors and providing them with what they need for tax purposes and attempting to comply with other requests that at times place us outside our perceived role and comfort zone. It is important that this relationship remain transparent with the donor understanding what limits you have with respect to ethical guidelines.
This training will provide a review of the AFP ethical code of conduct and walk you through case study examples that will help you maintain transparency and adherence to ethical standards.
