Under the AFP governance structure, one board seat is held by a representative of the Chapter President’s Council (CPC) on the AFP International Board of Directors. The Chapter Presidents Council (CPC) is the group comprised of Presidents from all chapters. The AFP President and CEO and the AFP Board Chair are ex-officio members of the CPC. The Association governance structure ensures that all chapters and members are represented and have a significant role in Association strategy and oversight. The CPC serves as the forum for feedback, networking, identification of issues, and dialogue for Chapter Presidents, as well as holding certain governance responsibilities. The governance responsibilities of the CPC are to elect a representative to the AFP International Board of Directors and to elect, by District, representatives and alternates to the Committee on Directorship (COD).
